50 cadets from 3 Welsh Wing travelled to RAF Halton for their annual Easter Camp, expecting a warm welcome from the station that has hosted them on many previous occasions, only to find a frosty reception.

2497 welcome Polly to Cosford
Cadets of 2497 Sqn with Polly
Cadets and staff from 2497 (Cosford) Squadron were privileged and honoured to be able to form a Guard Of Honour for the arrival of Polly Vacher, MBE, at DCAE Cosford during her “Wings Around Britain” tour. The tour is a challenge for Polly to visit all 206 airfields in Britain whilst raising awareness and funds for the Charity “Flying Scholarships for the Disabled”.
